As pace gathers around the first production batch on Pandora UMPC's, EvilDragon has posted this video regarding his work on the actual OS for the Pandora. We know that the OS is based on Ångström Linux which is used on other existing ARM based devices such as the Siemens SIM pad and the Beagle board. This means that some of the initial applications availble for the Pandora will include Abiword, Mozilla, Pidgin, Gimp, etc. The video below shows the initial OS with a modified GUI application called gmenu2X (originally coded for the GP2X). Looks impressive, albeit with small icons.
